Why the Exumas?
We base our multi-day charters out of Staniel Cay because the Exuma Cays are undeniably one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and there is no better way to explore them than by boat.
Staniel Cay is known for its proximity to Thunderball Grotto and the famous swimming pigs. There are several safe anchorages surrounding Staniel Cay, which allows us to visit this island no matter which direction the winds blow from. There are several accommodation options on Staniel Cay if you are interested in staying ashore before or after your charter.
From Staniel Cay, we have the Northern and Southern Exuma Cays at our fingertips. To the North is the Exuma Land and Sea Park, the first marine reserve ever established in the Bahamas and wider Caribbean. The islands and marine life in the park have been protected since 1958, resulting in untouched landscapes and sea creatures that have been left to grow big and are less wary of humans. The beauty of these islands is truly jaw-dropping. There is endless exploration to be had, from hiking to snorkeling to beach-combing.
To the South of Staniel Cay is a series of islands that are home to Bahamian communities and private residences. We can visit the small communities of Black Point and Little Farmers Cay, where there are a couple of shops, restaurants, and kind locals to meet. There are numerous secluded anchorages that offer unique snorkeling experiences, including David Copperfield's underwater sculpture "The Musician". On longer charters, we are able to visit the larger community of Georgetown on Great Exuma Island.
